Our Feeder School:
James Denman Middle School

Every K-5 school in the district is matched with a middle school feeder school. James Denman Middle School is the feeder school for Miraloma and 4 other elementary schools—Sunnyside, Lakeshore, Longfellow, and Sheridan.

The SFUSD middle school enrollment process gives highest preference to 1) younger siblings of middle school students (the older sibling must be a student when the younger one enters 6th grade), 2) students enrolled in 5th grade in an elementary school that feeds into the middle school, and then 3) students living in areas of the city with the lowest average test scores (known as CTIP1). High School

In 2018, Miraloma graduates of Denman MS enrolled in a range of San Francisco public and private high schools including Lowell, SOTA (Ruth Asawa School of the Arts), Lincoln, Mission, Lick Wilmerding, University, Urban, and more. All SF public high schools are city-wide schools and do not have a feeder system or a geographical attendance area like the elementary schools do. For more info about SFUSD high schools, click here.
